Spatial Typography

Experimental typography design that explores space and depth within letters. These 3-Dimensional letters are inspired by typographer Takenobu Igarashi.

Using a grid layout, I was able to create the illusion of depth, so the letters appear to be a 3-dimensional space.

I experimented with a second design inspired by a parking garage. By stacking the letterforms and using layers, I successfully created the illusion that the letters are tall and have interior spaces.
